The webinar series will focus on the emerging Care Management market
SEPTEMBER 20, 2018
iHealthHome has announced an education series on the Care Management field, hosted on the Curaport educational webinar platform. Curaport is a leading resource for online healthcare education. The webinar series is scheduled to begin September 27, 2018 with the webinar, “An Introduction to Care Management” and will continue into 2019.
“Care Management has always played an important part in helping patients navigate a complicated healthcare landscape,” said Dew-Anne Langcaon, Chief Executive Officer of iHealthHome. “In more recent years, especially with shifting toward value based payment methodologies, total population health initiatives and the pending expansion of Medicare Advantage coverage of in-home care, Care Management is going to be at the forefront of our healthcare needs. This is why we felt it important to educate the public, and we believe using the Curaport platform is the right way to do it.”
iHealthHome provides a patient-centric software for Care Managers. With their unique focus on the patient and their families, the software solution allows Care Management providers to essentially run their business from their mobile device.
“When we were approached to provide unique content focused on Care Management, we absolutely jumped on the opportunity,” said Tripp Matthews, Founder of Curaport. “I was especially excited when I first talked with Dew-Anne and heard her expertise on the topic. I knew then that this series of webinars will be both unique and extremely useful for our learners. Care Management is an area that most Home Health and Private Duty agencies are not very engaged. With the current trajectory of our Healthcare System, they sure should be.”
